As we get close to the close of 162 for 2K15 the Award Predictions are endless. The Cy Young Award for the Senior Circuit might have been all but sewed last night as front-runner Zack Greinke of the L.A. Dodgers beat the Mad Bum in San Francisco Giants Madison Bumgarner.

Now looking at other potential winners there is Gerrit Cole dba Cole World of the Buccos, "Jake the Snake" Arrieta of "Maddon Ball", Jacob deGrom not the "Dark Knight" dba Matt Harvey of the Ney York Metropolitans, and throw in Clayton Kershaw of L.A. and "Mad Max" Scherzer of the Nats as they avoid falling into the Potomac River! Let's make a case for all parties involves in order:

"Word around the Warning Track"
2K15 NL Cy Young Leaderboard
Top 5

Note: Pitchers are in order as of September 2, 2015

1. Zack Greinke #DodgerNation

Leads the NL in ERA at 1.59 as he allowed a run in the 8th frame last night for his 15th win versus the Gigantes. He also leads the Senior Circuit in Innings pitched (186.2), Opponents batting average (.189) and tied for 3rd in wins (15) as Michael Wacha (Redbirds)  and Gerrit Cole each have 15. Cubs Jake Arrieta leads the NL in wins with 17.

2. Jake Arrieta #MaddonBall

17 wins that leads the NL and 16 quality starts in a row including a no-hitter vs the Dodgers in Chavez Ravine last Sunday night. When the Cubbies need a "W" they just go to "Jake the Snake" on the "Bump". He is also 2nd in the NL in ERA (2.11) and Opponents Batting Average (.195). It';s Greinke's to lose but Arrieta is not only in the same neighborhood but standing right behind Greinke to grab the award.

3.  Jacob deGrom #Amazins (Video below)

I know talking New York Mets resurgence you must mention the Dark Knight dba N.Y. Mets RHP Matt Harvey and that find and dandy.  Then you look closer its all about Mr. deGrom and that 12-7 W-L and sparkling 2.32 ERA to go wit opponents hitting just .204 against him. I know this throw him in with Harvey and Noah Syndergaard...the Mets will make some noise this October and thereafter as they will win the NL East!

4. Gerrit Cole #BUCN

By now you should know that #BUCN is a "Cole World" and J-Cole you slide on over and jump into the Three Rivers. He has fizzled some in the last month and a half but at 15-8 and a 2.64 ERA with 168 K's to 39 free passes and his team has the 2nd best W-L in the Show...he will garner major attention in the voting!

5. Clayton Kershaw #DodgerNation

By his ow admission he has had a down year but his 2nd half has been somewhat vintage Kershaw. At just 11-6 in 26 starts he still leads the NL with 236 punch outs (Strikeouts) to 33 walks and opponents still cannot hit him hitting .200. That 2.24 ERA is 3rd best and if he didn't have a teammate named Zack Greinke he might be in the Top 3!

Other receiving votes...

#Nats Mad Max Scherzer
#Gigantes Mad Bum
#Redbirds Michael Wacha
