The Miami Heat lived by the money ball and died by the money ball as the Washing Wizards shot like it was All-Star Saturday and there is a prize to get. Yes Heat star Dwayne Wade played on the 2nd leg of a back to back scoring 20 but he and Chris Bosh were no match for the new "Beast" of the NBA Southeast!
The Wizards behind their point god John Wall dba Wall-Star (18 pts 13 asst) shot 10 for 19 from the Arc within the offense as the Heat shot just 2 for 22 from Landover and that was a huge difference in the ball game. Wizards also out rebound and out shoot the Heat from the line and with Miami coming out of the Motel that is a recipe for an "L"!
It was NBA journeyman Rasual Butler from the LaSalle University Explorers who led the Wiz Kids with a game-high 23 points off the bench as Marcin Gortat's 15 points and ten boards added to Wall's numbers were the only two Wiz starters in double figures.
Chris Bosh led Miami with 21 points as there were a whole bunch of donuts in the three point column. Miami fell behind early and shooting from the arc missing compounded their problems. Wiz sniper Bradley Beal only had eight points on 3 for seven shooting.
Wizards move to 11-5 while the Heat falls to 9-8...
