The Dallas Maverick come off of an impressive "W" over the less than LAKEshow Lakers and not taking anything away from the Mavs but the Lakers are close to bottom feeders. The acquisitions of Monta Ellis, Jose Calderon, DeJuan Blair, and Sam Dalembert among others have given the Mavs a new-look and a better look for 2013-14. At 3-1 they now get a true test although it's early in the Oklahoma City Thunder with Point God Russell Westbrook in Uniform. Can the Mavs slow down Russ and KD as you are not going to stop them and keep it close enough to go DIRKiliscious in the end? The Thunder need to get production from that front line namely "Air Congo" in Serge Ibaka.

PLAYBOOK

The Mavs need to pick their spots in Transition and not make this a Track Meet with Westbrook at the OKC Controls...

Can KD take advantage of his glaring mis-match at the Small Forward?

Mavs SG "Mississippi Lightning" Monta is a "Monster Inside 94 x 50" and the Thunder need to slow him down as he is equally effective in the half court as he is in Transition...

Can the Thunder Front Line of Perk, Ibaka, Collison, and Adams play bigger than the Mavs Front Line of Dalembert, the Matrix, Blair, and @Swish41?

Keys to a "W" for both:

Mavs must keep composure throughout
Thunder try to keep Thunder Nation in the game
Guard the ARC (3 point Line)
Transition "D"
Know where Monta Ellis is w/Orange
Know where Russell Westbrook is w/Orange

Mavs Double "KD" and keep him away from middle of the Hardwood

Rebounding and both Ellis and Westbrook are excellent Offensive Rebounding Guards...keep them off the glass

Who has an Inside Presence or can get some production in the paint?

Can Vintage @Swish41 show up as he has yet to get loose in 2013-14 season

Who can get to the Free Throw Line the most...

Mavs @ Thunder NBA on ESPN at 930pm ET
