The Blazesr were led by in the scoring column by Point God Damian Lillard's 25 points and LaMarcus "L-Train" Aldridge's  24 points and seven boards. The Spurs got into an early hole and to the Blazers Credit they outscored the Spurs in every frame but the 3rd. The Spurs were led by Dunc's 24 points and seven boards and 19 points from Marco Belinelli. Both teams are 2-1 on the 2013-14 season.

The Dub City Warriors playing in Planet Oracle on Warriors Ground jumped out top a 56-36 lead at the break and never looked back on Team #ForeverPurple "Long live the Kings" as the Kings couldn't shoot the Orange in the Bay. The Kings made it interesting as the Warriors win 98-87 with Curry and Thomspon of Run T.L.C. going in. They combined for 49 points, fourteen helpers, and seven boards. More importantly they had it going from the Arc shooting 50% on 8 of 16 as the Kings knew what was coming but could not do anything to stop it. Kings Starters combined to score 22 points as Kings Rook Ben McLemore led with 19 points and NBA Vet Travis Outlaw added 15 points and ten boards. GSW moves to 2-1 and the Kings fall to 1-2.

Most analysts pick Pelicans PF Anthony Davis to have a break out season in Year Two and they were right on as the Bluedude is thinking before the 2013-14 Tip A-Davis would make the West All-Star Team. The Pelicans hammered the Charlotte mikeCATS 105-84 as Davis goes 25 points, eight boards, six blocks, and four helpers showing all that versatility in that 6-9 lithe frame. Both Pelicans Guards REKEhavoc and Jrue added 15 and 14 respectively. The Pelicans could not overcome that 54-41 deficit in the 1st half. Cats Starters combined for just 33 points as back-up PG Ramon Sessions led with 22 points and six helpers. Both teams are 1-2 on the season as the Pelicans get their 1st "W" of 2013-14.
