The LSU Tigers storm into their Match Up with the #1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide with a better offense but a just above average "D". The Crimson Tide come in "Air Tight" as usual the Tide come in with a top flight Offense and their "D" is solid but not as dominant as years past. Now it comes down to the Tigers playing spoiler as they already have two losses in conference play, 'Bama is trying to stay ahead of the curve as they are #1 in the BCS and a date with a one loss rival in the Auburn Tigers looming as Saban dare look ahead.

Zach Mettenberger the QB for the Tigers has come full circle under New LSU O-Coordinator Cam Cameron. He has a top flight Duo at WR in Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry. He also has a plethora of Running Backs in Jeremy Hill, Terrence Magee, Kenny Hilliard, and Alfred Blue. The Tide need to win the battle upfront in the trenches where Saban likes those Big Nasties as does the "Mad Hatter" Miles. Can the Tide take away Beckham and Kandry and force Mettenberger to go elsewhere as he got in trouble in the Georgia Game late trying to go to just those two WRs.

The Tide has QB A.J. McCarron and he is as cool and calm as any QB in Major College Football. He has a stout Run Game with true Sophomores T. J. Yeldon and Kenyan Drake. Those big Nasties upfront keep that power run game going and they also keep A.J. clean in the pocket for that vertical passing game. Amari Cooper is the 'Bama Wide out that gets all the ink but they also have DeAndrew White and Kevin Norwood and they will spread it around. If there is an Achilles Heel for the Tigers it's that back end as LSU All-American Safety Craig Lotson doesn't play corner and they are young.

The Tigers are 3-2 in the SEC and 'Bama is 5-0 and an Auburn Bunch whose 4-1. This game will not be a blowout and it will come down to who can be physical at the point of attack as well as who minimizes mistakes. This game has the folks in Tallahassee, Florida and Columbus, Ohio locked in. Florida State is at Wake and Ohio State is idle on Saturday November 9th.
