It wasn't pretty but when you have Alex Smith versus Ryan Fitzpatrick it's a Science Project that has to have a winner before the day is over. The Chiefs hold it together to beat a game Titans Team that came to fight 26-17. Not surprising was Smith and Fitzpatrick threw for 245 and 247 yard respectively not saying they are the same Players but. The difference in the game was the Chiefs "Unleashed the Arrowhead Beast" in RB Jamaal Charles. J.C. went for 108 yards on twenty-two carries as the Titans "D" found out why he is a Legit Top 5 RB on Sunday. Titans supposed featured RB CJ2K had 10 carries for 17 yards...yes and a nice 49-yard TD receiving. The Game was one upfront and the Chiefs won that battle on both sides of the Pig and move to 5-0. The Titans fall to a solid 3-2 but with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in the saddle can they hold serve?

The Detroit Lions might be one player away from going 3-13 as they had no WR MEGAtron and they looked inept on Offense and lose to the Packers 22-9. The Packers didn't exactly run away with the contest as it had to do more with the Lions "D" trying to keep them in the Game for an Offense that never came around. Packers Rookie RB Eddie Lacy went for 99 yards on 23 carries and that was big. Pack WR James Jones caught four pigs for 127 yards and a score. Lions QB Stafford threw for 262 yards as A-Rog threw for 274 yards. Now the Lions fall to 3-2 with the Bears and the Packers are right back in it at 2-3. The Lions needed this one with the Bears losing and couldn't get it.

To the Jungle on the Ohio and for the Pats that's exactly what it was a horrible Safari Trip. Tom Brady's 52-Game Streak of at least One TD Pass was broken and the Pats also lose game #1 of 2013 by a score of 13-6. I give all the credit to Bengals D-Coordinator Mike Zimmer as he blew the doors off that Pats Offensive Scheme of O-Coordinator Josh McDaniels. Cincy's D-Line was back dominant again and they went after Tom Terrific up the middle where you have to blitz him. The Bengals did get a combined 32 carries and 129 yards on the ground by Benjarvis Green-Ellis and Giovanni Bernard and that was the key to getting 13 points. It was just one of those Games where the Offenses could not get up with the Defenses for both teams. The Bengals are in a three-way tie in the AFC North at 3-2 with the Browns and Ravens. The Pats fall to 4-1 and a game ahead of the Phins in the AFC East.
