The LA Sparks know the Minnesota Lynx will be a Tough Out but can the Sparks even compete with a Team with so much Star Power and Balance on both ends of the Floor?

Behind Maya Moore's 20 Pts, 5 Boards, and 5 helpers, and Seimone Augustus' 16 pts, 6 Boards, and 7 Helpers the Defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx cruised to a 94-77 W over the Candace Parker led L.A. Sparks in Game 1 of the WNBA Western Conference Finals.

After a see saw 1st Frame the Lynx went to overdrive in the 2nd Frame by doubling up the Sparks 32-16 before the break and leading by 17 at Intermission. Candace Parker had a Game-High 25 pts, 11 Boards, and 10 Helpers but that wasn't nearly enough to overcome the Floor-Balance of the Lynx led by All-World Point Goddess Lindsay Whalen. Whalen has surpassed the Seattle Storm's Sue Bird as the Premier Point Goddess in the WNBA and her Game is perfect for the Mega-Talent that surrounds her. Whalen gets 12 pts, 2 Boards, and 3 Helpers but its the Coach on the Floor Mentality that gets it done for the Lynx.
The Sparks now will face Elimination in Game 2 as it is only a 3 Game Series. Can the Sparks muster up enough Offense and Game to match Candace Parker in putting the Lynx in a Game 3 Single- Elimination Game back in the Twin Cities? The Sparks we will soon find out. Right now Parker vs Moore/Augustus is too much to handle and the Sparks have to slow one of them down to have a chance.
Next Game: Sunday at Staples in L.A.....LYNX @ SPARKS
