Both the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns come into the 2K12 Version of the Battle of the Red River with a Loss under their Belt. The 'Horns losing last week to Geno 4 Heisman in Austin and the Sooners losing to Bill Snyder's Tough K-State Cats in Norman. Two Losses might put you out of the Big 12 Championship Picture so here we go.

HOOKEM' Horns vs BOOMER Sooner Game Preview

TEXAS to Win: They have to run Malcolm Brown and Peter Bergeron and establish that First against the Sooners. The Passing Game will be going up against a pretty good Sooner Secondary. Horns QB David Ash has played well all season they put up 45 Points on West Virginia last week and lost. Ash's Top WRs Jaxson Shipley, Mike Davis, and 2012 Olympic Qualifier Marquis Goodwin.

Defensively they must slow down Sooner QB Landry Jones with Pressure like K-State did. On Sunday if you pressure QBs up the Middle that disrupts more of their timing than coming off the Edge. Jones can operate outside the Pocket but would rather stay in the Pocket. Look For DE Jackson Jeffcoat, Corner Quandre Diggs, and Safety Kenny Vaccaro to be a Huge Part of that equation.

OKLAHOMA to Win: They have to establish the Run (with RB Damien Williams) like Texas to open the Game up for QB Landry Jones. Jones has looked good except for that Bad Game vs the K-State Wildcats. On the Outside he has Pr Season All Big 12 and All-American Candidate Kenny Stills who has had a Marvelous Start to his 2012 Campaign.

Defensively the Sooners are led by DTs and Two Seniors Up Front in Casey Walker and Jamarkus McFarland. They are backed up by Backers Jefferson, Wort, and Nelson. The Stud in the Back End is Demontre Hurst and he will be a High Pick on Sunday like Texas' Diggs and Vaccaro. OU needs to keep Texas RBs Brown and Bergeron from doing Damage.

Winner: No one wants to have 2 Losses on their Resume in Big 12 Play in Early October. The Edge goes to the Boomer Sooner but barely...Oklahoma 37 - Texas 33
