Both Teams come off a NLDS Road well-traveled and now its the Best 4 out of 7 for the NL Pennant.The Redbirds are looking stronger as the Show Winning Time moves forward. Getting RHP Chris Carpenter back and Healthy is a Huge Addition for the Redbirds starting Staff as Lynn (18 Game-Winner) and Lohse (16 Game-Winner) held the Fort down through 162 and now its Carp's Time. Throw in Wainright and the Closer Jason Motte the Staff collectively is every bit as good as the Gigantes Staff in its entirety.
They lost Lance Berkman but the New Found Energy of OF Carlos Beltran along with Matt Holliday in that Line Up the Cards have not skipped a beat. Many Observers wrote the Redbirds off after EL Hombre...Albert Pujols took off for the Orange County California Freeways. The Redbirds are as tough s Nails and they have Baseball Town USA and Redbird Nation Behind them.
The Gigantes starred in the Movie "Back from the Living Dead" or they were in the Michael Jackson "Thriller" Video as they looked like Zombies and the Dead heading to Great American on the Ohio. They showed Great Resolve in their amazing 3-Game Sweep of the Red Legs and that Grade A Pitching Staff up front is the Best left in the Show. To go with Cain, Bumgarner, Vogelsong, and Zito and to have 2010 NL Cy Young Award Winner Tim Lincecum in Middle Relief shows you how Deep they really are.
Led by 2012 NL MVP Nominee and the Best Back Stop in the Show Buster Posey the Gigantes have more than enough in that Line Up to get to Redbirds Pitching. It will come down to how the Hitters around Posey perform notably Hunter Pence and Pablo "Panda Smash" Sandoval. They will need other Players to step up but you think they didn't have that getting this far.
