#2 CLEMSON 44
#1 ALABAMA 16 F

Congrats #AllIn #ClemsonFamily
as
CFP National Champs

I knew the Clemson Tigers were well equipped but didn't know how well equipped taking on an Alabama Crimson Tide Squad that is always on top of things. After both teams came through the Team-Inspired Fog Machines the Crimson Tide has no idea what these Clemson Tigers were about to do to Roll Tide and in a dominating fashion!

No one scored in the 4th frame but the Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide both had it going in the first 15 minutes of this one. A 14-13 Clemson lead after one turned into a 31-16 Clemson lead at the break before Imagine Dragons and Little Weezy took the halftime stage.

It was all about the Tigers Offense but in the trenches on both sides of the pigskin was the story. That D-Line for Clemson showed how dominant they truly were stopping 'Bama on numerous 3rd down opportunities and 4th downs. 'Bama for the first time in a long time wasn't winning inside the trenches and the final score showed that.

Clemson true Freshman QB Trevor Lawrence threw for 347 yards on 20 for 32 and three scores. It wasn't the numbers as it was how Law-Dawg was doing his thing the throws and timing with his wide outs. Freshman Justyn Ross hauled in six pigs for 153 yards and a TD with Tee "Big Play" Higgins grabbing 3 pigs for 81 and one of the three in the 'Bama end zone.

Throw in Tigers RB Travis Etienne powerful running for 86 bruising yards on fourteen carries and two TDs. It was all Clemson as they turned back 'Bama in the 2nd half three times in the red one as the Crimson Tide was going for six instead of three as they fell behind 44-16 after three.

'Bama QB Tua Tagovailoa threw for 295 yards on 2 for 34 with two TDS and two INTs. I guess the telling story was that Pick Six Tua threw right off on Alabama's very first possession told us all what kind of night it was going to be for 'Bama.

Situational Football and 'Bama didn't cash in on many situations. Roll Tide #1 WR and 2k18 Biletnikoff Winner Jerry Jeudy route tree'd his way to 139 yards on five grabs and a score as he was the only 'Bama WR that really got loose.

Clemson gave up just 443 total yards but it was that Red Zone Defense that counted. The digits throughout were fairly even it was that old adage for 'Bama, " Don't tell me how many key plays you made...its when did you make those key plays"!

Clemson finished 15-0 as Alabama finishes at 14-1...
