The Chicago Blackhawks litter a Rookie Net Minder 42 times and they scored only twice. To compound things the Hawks lose to that Rookie Net Minder in Extras 3-2 as the Calgary Flames shock the Hawks at the Madhouse.

Flames rook Reto Berra was just called up and just like that he faced the defending Stanley Cup Champions and more than held his own. Berra stooped 40-42 shots on his way to his 1st NHL Win and a memorable one. Both Citizen Kane 88 and Boss Hoss 81 scored on the rook but that was it. Hawks Stanley Cup Net Minder Corey Crawford stopped 27 of 30 shots but that one that got away in Overtime cost him the "W".

No one scored in the 1st frame and a goal each scored by both Teams in the 2nd and 3rd frames. The Hawks fortunately for them get a Point and stay on pace with the Central leading Avs who are at  24 pts and the Hawks move to 22 pts. The Flames in 6th place in the Pacific move to 6-6-2 with 14 points.
