The Chicago Blakchawks are starting to hit their groove as they win the 2nd of a Back to Back Motel/Home-Cooked Series. Sunday's Loser the Edmonton Oilers as the Hawks hang onto win 5-4 and move  12-2-4 in the 2013-14 season.

The Hawks scored the only goal in the first as Brandon Saad gets his 4th of the Season. The Oilers comes right back and pout up two straight in the 2nd as Andrew Shaw of the Hawks caps the 2nd frame scoring with a goal and a 2-2 ti heading into frame three. The Hawks then get a goal by Bryan Bickell in the 3rd as the Oilers came right back to make it 3-3. Then Marcus Kruger and Duncan Keith both score within two minutes apart to give the Hawks a 5-3 lead. The Oilers get one back late on a Short-Handed Goal by Jordan Eberle as that capped the scoring at 5-4 a Final in the Hawks favor.

Hawks Net Minder Corey Crawford stopped 19 of 23 shots as he moves to 11-2-3 on 2012-13. The Hawks now get the Coyotes on Thursday Night November 14 at the Madhouse. The Hawks are now tied with the Avs at 28 points for the lead in the Central.
