The Red Legs will get tested as those blue-hot L.A. Dodgers are in town trying to go through the front door, sky rook, back door, windows, and the Garage. The Cincinnati Reds are playing good hardball but getting through the Dodgers and getting through the Redbirds are two entirely different chores.

The Dodgers as we go to press have the 3rd best record in the Show and they are chasing the Tomahawk Shop 404 for the best record on the Senior Circuit. They have two of the top three to four most dominant pitchers in the NL in Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke. They also boast that balanced hitting attack with Run-Producers all through that line up led by Hanley Ramirez, Adrian "A-Gon" Gonzalez, and the "Cuban Missile" Yasiel Puig among others. Now that's not even talking about CF and perennial All-Star Matt Kemp.

Enough of the Dodgers as the Red Legs are making a charge as they are just three back of the Pirates for the NL Central lead and just 1.5 games back of the Redbirds as the #1 slot in the NL Wild Card. Pitching will be the key as they need quality starts from the likes of Mat Latos, Homer Bailey, Tony Cingrani, and Mike Leake among others. They are led by Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto, Todd Frazier, and Jay Bruce among others and ex-Dodger Great and current Red Legs Skip Dusty Baker is calling all the shots. This series should be played at the highest level of September Hardball.

DODGERS @ RED LEGS on the Ohio a Three-Piece NL Treat...

September 6, 2013 7:10pm ET
LAD Capuano (4-7) vs CIN Leake (7-6)

September 7, 2-13 1:05pm ET
LAD Greinke (14-3) vs CIN Latos (14-5)

September 8, 2013 8:05pm ET
LAD Kershaw (14-8) vs CIN Bailey (10-10)

Didn't I tell you it was going to be a series as you look at that Saturday Match Up along with the Sunday Night Baseball Match Up on ESPN's Sunday Night Hardball. Don't worry about the Red Legs bringing out the best in Kershaw and Greinke as they are both chasing the NL Cy Young and going for it competing versus each other.
