The Philadelphia Eagles had their chances but the turnovers doomed them from the jump. Then the Chiefs in the 4th frame just put it in high gear to close the deal 26-16. The Chiefs get a balanced attack from QB Alex Smith passing and the "Arrowhead Beast" Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles.
Chiefs Smith was flawless going 22/35 for 273 yards and TDs but no INTs. Charles had 20 totes for 92 yards as he was simply a menace between the Tackles and outside towards the boundaries. More importantly for the Chiefs after years of Misery they are 3-0 and the Broncos need to pay serious and close attention.
The Eagles might be Bi-Polar and not taking shots at those who are. The Eagles "D" showed up for this until the 4th frame as the Eagles New Offense called "LINC-iliscious" just couldn't get to the Chiefs End Zone. Shady McCoy is officially the other side or the Alter Ego of the Twin Cities Avenger Adrian Peterson as he went for 158 yards on just twenty carries. The "Vick Experience" ran for 95 yards on five carries including a burst in the 1st half for over sixty yards.
The Birds drop to 1-2 and 0-2 at the Linc while the Chiefs go 3-0 and in K.C. tomorrow it will truly be a #REDFriday...wear your RED and duck tape 3-0 on it!
