The Rangers had to be feeling good about their prospects of leaving the Black Hole up two games with Ace Yu Darvish on the Bump. Well the A's didn't get that memo nor did they care who was on the mound as the Rangers methodically get to Darvish and the Rangers for an eventual 11-4 blowout.
Behind Lead-Off Wonder Boy and the Junior Circuit's Favorite Cereal in A's CF Coco Crisp (2 for 2 w/ 2 Runs and 4 RBI including a 2-Run HR) the A's with the score just 3-2 A's in the bottom half of the 6th frame put a crooked number up to match the Inning and roll to a huge win. Behind Crisp's Offense it was A's Hot Corner Josh Donaldson (2 for 5 w/ 3 RBI and a 3-Run HR) and A's OF Brandon Moss (2 for 4 w/ 2RBI and a 2-run HR) who also came to the aid of A's Starter Jarrod Parker. Parker went six giving up two runs on five hits and striking out four. After that crooked six as put up in the 6th he hit the Showers with a "W" in hand.
Then Rangers Yu Darvish was hit up for five runs on five hits as he uncharacteristically handed out six free passes and gave up two bombs to Moss and A's fist baseman Daric Barton (2 for 3 w/ 2 RBI and a 2-Run HR). Darvish's six free passes came back to hunt him as well as those two 2-Run Home Runs. The Rangers put up four runs and highlighted by back stop Geovany Soto's Solo HR.
The Rangers and A's will head to their next series' tied up at 80-59 and the Co-Leaders in the Two-Trick Pony of a Race in the AL West.
