The New York Yankees are not doing things how you would draw them up for a Team playing on an extended life line in September but they are putting them in the right column. The Yanks get the Usual Order from Cano and C.C. reaching back to get that little extra as they help the Bombers beat the Pale Hose 6-5 to finish the sweep.

C.C. Sabathia needs to wear them Jordan 11 Cleats from here on out and the Yankees need to rise up and like Jordan Brand "Become Legendary" in the month of September. They finish the sweep of the Pale Hose and Cano goes O-Zone Layer like only Robbie can. He hits a Solo Bomb to go with a 3 for 4 day at the dish knocking in two ducks and scoring one. The Yanks also get a 2 for 4 day from CF Brett Gardner (2 for 4 w/ 2 RBI and a Run scored) who for the most part has been the 2nd most consistent everyday player behind Robbie C..

Sabathia went 7 1/3 innings allowing three runs on five hits as the Sox put a crooked four on the Yanks in the top half of the 8th that chased Sabathia. The Pinstripes finally put the charcoal out as they dialed up the Pen and "Enter Sandman" Mo Rivera registers his 41st Save. Look Yankees Nation the Pinstripes might not catch the Carmines but they have a legitimate shot at the Wild Card as they trail the Ray by just two games as the Yanks have covered some major ground. The Tribe is one back and the O's two back of the Pinstripes.

Now the Yanks seemingly running on fumes go to Fenway to exercise those 2013 Carmines Demons. It is a four-piece and the only way its get interesting is if the Pinstripes sweep or take three of four....stay tuned!
