The WNBA has been around now for some 15 Full Season and the Ladies Game keeps evolving as the World's Best Women Players play in the WNBA.

The Bluedude having known arguably the Best before it's said and done to ever play in the WNBA Candace Parker, the Original CP3,  for at least 13 Years dating back to her days at Naperville, Illinois' Central High School had to put this Squad together. It has been on my mind at least for about a Year and a Half and with the London 2012 Summer Games on display soon no better time then now to release my Top 10 of All-Time Women Ballers of the WNBA .

The Top 10 WNBA Players of All-Time sponsored by...Basketball in its Purest Form because the Ladies don't play the game Above the Rim they have to rely on the Fundamentals and Nuances of the game...the WNBA...a Basketball's Purest Dream:

Cynthia Cooper aka COOP (Comets 1997-2000): The USC Combo Guard and one of Europe's Greatest ever before the WNBA became a League. Played for the Houston Comets from 1997-2000 and dominated as the Comets were the Team to beat the first 4-5 Years in the WNBA. The Best Scorer I have ever seen in the Women's Game to this Day and my #1 Player of All-Time in the WNBA. Played at USC with Cheryl Miller and the McGee Sisters...Paula and Pamela. Pamela McGee is the Mother of Javale McGee the current Center for the Nuggets.

Sheryl Swoopes (Comets 1997-2000, 2002-20007)..(Storm 2008)..(Shock 2009): From the Wing the fastest in the WNBA maybe ever. Swoopes was devastating from the Arc and the Drive. She teamed up with Coop early on with the Comets to Dominate the League. Former Texas Tech Red Raider All-American .

Candace Parker aka CP3 (Sparks 2008 - Current) Has lived up to the hype ever since she was an 8th Grader in Naperville, Illinois a Far West Suburb of Chicago. The Ability to play all 5 Positions and be the Best on the Hardwood no matter where she plays. Before it is Said and Done she will be in my Eyes the 2nd Best Women to ever play Basketball in the US. The First being the Great Cheryl Miller...enough said.

Lisa Leslie aka L2 (Sparks 1997-2006, 2008-2009) From Inglewood California Morningside HS to USC and to the Sparks. She never left LA County and its surroundings and her Massive Game in the paint never left her. Arguably the Best Big in the Women's game ever counting outside the WNBA. She put up a Couple of Chips in L.A. and she will always be one of the faces in the Women's Game Forever.

Katie Smith (Lynx 1999-2005)..(Shock 2005-2009)..Mystics (2010)..(Storm 2011- Current): Eve since the Bluedude saw her display her all-around rugged game near High Street in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State University I knew she had it. A Guard trapped into a SF/PF Body. IQ, Court Savvy. Leadership, Shoot it from anywhere, Ball-Handling, Passing, and Leadership makes her what she is and she has the aforementioned IT Trait.....GotGAME?

Lauren Jackson (Storm 2001 - Current): To be honest with you she is a Top 3-4 Ever which includes Cheryl Miller, who has never played in the WNBA, but LJ is the truth. A face and driving Force on her Australian National Team going for Gold in London and has a Real Good Shot. She has won Multiple Chips and WNBA MVP's. She Runs, Block, Drives off the bounce, Leader, Fundamentally Sound, Off the Down Under Basketball IQ, and She plays at a 100% Clips. Oh! and did the Bluedude tell you her talent is Off the Charts of any I have seen in the Front Court of the Women's game.

Tamika Catchings (Fever 2002 - Current): Pulling from her Fathers Gene Pool...Harvey Catchings who played in the Logo and is currently working in the NBA offices. Mik is a Gamer and that goes all the way back to Duncanville, Texas High School (just outside of Dallas, Texas) yes the one that has produced just recently Perry Jones III on the Men's Side. She is a Top 3 Ever to play at Storied Rocky Top Tennessee under the great Pat Summit. She is the most complete Women's Player ever (from an Offensive and Defensive point of View) and the Best Defender I have ever seen in the Women's Game. Playing with that kind of Desire and not worried about Buckets speaks Volume because she could get 25 per if she wanted to.

Tina Thompson (Comets 1997-2008)..Sparks (2009 - Current): The Best Player from USC along with Lisa Leslie after the Cooper, McGee Sisters, and Cheryl Miller Period was over. A true Wing Forward with a PF Game as well. She can shoot it from deep, rebound with the best of them, and arguably a Top 3 Post Defender ever in the WNBA. She also has a Knack for getting in the Passing Lanes. She is a High End Elmer's Glue-Player with All-Star Traits which makes her Super-Glue.

Diana Taurasi (Mercury 2004 - Current): She ha also lived up to Lofty Expectation from her Scholastic Days in Southern California to her days at UConn with Seattle Storm's Sue Bird in the Back Court. She is a Snipe by Trade but can move back to the point or Up to the Small Forward. Excellent Size, Court Vision, Shot-Making Ability, Court Awareness, Court Savvy, and the Willingness like Tamika Catchings to do whatever her team needs her to do to Win. Diana and Maya Moore are arguably the 2 Best players ever at UConn and if they are 3-10 is in their Lap.

*Cappie Pondexter (Mercury 2006-2009) (Liberty 2010 - Current): The Chicago, Illinois Marshall HS Powerhouse Product is all that. Legendary Marshall Coach Dorothy Gaiters would tell you out of all the All-Staters and All-Americans I have coached Cappie is Numero Uno. Her innate ability to get by just about anyone off the Bounce and See the Floor with the best of them and will take the Big Shot no matter what the Circumstances are is Cappie's Make-up. An Explosive Player at the point of Attack and the Mind-Set of if you let me score 30 I will go for 60.  It was real close between Cappie and Sue Bird but the sheer explosiveness and athleticism of Cappie gives her the nod.

*Maya Moore (Lynx 2010 - Current): From the Wing and Dominated College Hoops like Candace Parker and Taurasi and others on this list. She can make all the plays and there is nothing M&M Brand Jordan can't do. The 1st Ever Woman to get a Brand Jordan Deal as she wears the Jordan Fly Wade (made for Dwayne Wade of the World Champion Miami Heat). She can Handle, pass, Shoot, Rebound, Defend, and Finish on the Break. When she is Done it will be her and Candace Parker to battle it out for the Best Women's Player Ever in the WNBA..I mean ever.

* Cappie and Maya tied for #10 and rightfully so I just couldn't leave either one of them the List.      

There will be arguments and if you want to we could talk all day long on my WNBA's Top 10 Ever. the Bluedude always shoots for the Moon and if I miss I am amongst the Stars so it's always a Win-Win Proposition. I know One of the Big Dogs (ESPN, NBA on TNT, Sirius Radio Etc.) will take a Chance on the Bluedude as it is just a Matter of time. I don't have much Time but Time and Patience is of the Essence...right.
