The Bronx Bombers are again flexing all their Muscles and have a 7 game lead on the O's and a 7.5 Game lead on the Rays. So much for losing the Sandman as they have found another Horse in the Pen. The Rays have the Starting Pitching to make it interesting and the O's are in the Middle. the Carmines and Jays are a Bad Week from looking at an Overhaul especially the Carmines.

AL East Standings July 12, 2012

   W - L    GB
1. Yankees 52-33
2. Orioles 45-40.....7
3. Rays   45-41....7.5
4. Red Sox 43-43...9.5
5. Jays 43-43.....9.5

Yankees: It's not like the Division is the Worst its that the Pinstripes are playing and .600 Clip. GM Cashman will probably not have to make a move as Pettite will be out at least 2 months with Broken Ankle. C.C. missed 2 Starts before the Break but he is the Workhorse. Cano, Jeter, and Granderdson lead the Offensive Charge and see you in October......SEEEEE YAA.

O's: They have Jim Johnson as the Closer and that part of the O's game is fixed. Jones is a Monster in Center but they need someone to step up an Be the Top 2 Pitchers and they need a Pop in the Lineup. They are Candidates for making a move if they feel it will get them the AL Wildcard.

Rays: They have arguably the Best Duo in the AL of any Rotation in Shields and Price. The Longoria Injury concerns me especially as he re aggravated the Hamstring again on an Assignment.  The Rays will be in it because of their Leadership and Experience. They just need that Hot Corner Longoria back ASAP.

Red Sox: Should they start the Fire Sale now or in Mid- August. They get rid of Youkilis and next you might have to say to a Contender for Good Propspects might be Big Papi. Can the Red Sox cut that 9.5 Games in the AL...No. Maybe Beckett maybe on the move as well. Hiring Valentine was the Beginning of the End for the Red Sox.

Predictions: Yankees will win the AL East with the Rays in the WILDCARD Hunt
