Before it is said and done the Tigers Verlander will be right in the Middle of the AL Cy Young Race because of his History of getting stronger as the Season moves on. There also could be Two from the Pen that get in the Race down the Stretch.

He has missed 3 Starts and he will get to 30 plus Starts. Overall I would roll with Verlander as the #1 in the Show but Weaver isn't #2 he is #1B. Grade A Stuff and jut a lights out Pitcher and seeing him at least Twice a year may hurt your Average.

Chris Sale Pale Hose
10-2  2.19 ERA  102.2 IP  98 Whiffs

Jake Peavy said in Spring training that Sale will one day win a or win some AL Cy Young Awards. Well Peavey was talking Future Tense not Present Tense and Sale has been lights out. A Lefty Flame-Thrower with Late Movement and will drop down and get his EAGLE on at times coming Side Arm with a Funky Motion.

Justin Verlander Tigers
9-5  2.58 ERA  132.2 IP  128 Whiffs

It's not that Verlander has struggled it his Half-Shaky at times Run Support. Most Pitchers would take 9-5 as amazing and a Good 1st half not Verlander. But a 132.2 Innings pitched and a Show leading 128 Grab Some Bench....that will keep you on any Pitching List in the Show.

Fernando Rodney Rays
2-1  0.91 ERA  39.2 IP   40 Whiffs

The Rays Save Man is virtually unhittable and he brings it like Former Cards Reliever Lee Smith. Gas Chamber when seeing Rodney who can hit the Gun at 3 Digits. Anytime your under 1 in ERA and your dominating in Saves....and your IP/K Ratio is 39.3/40..lights out.

David Price Rays
12-4  2.80 ERA  119 IP  113 Whiffs

They have Shields but Price has emerged as their Real Slim Shady as they thought he would. Electric Stuff and another Lefty with Above Mid 90s Express with a nasty Slide Piece to Lefty's. As long as the rays are in the race you know Price will be locked in and look for him to Challenge Weaver and Verlander.
