Look I am not going to bring the "Elements" into play as Chicago is cold in December and the Los Angeles Rams knew that. The 2k18 Chicago Bears are built on Defense with a nice healthy running game. That is a proven recipe for success in the NFL and Defense travels and it comes out of motels in winning time and gets down no matter what offense is on the other side of that Wilson pigskin.
The L.A. Rams had not shot on this night as the Bears Defense dominated holding a Rams offense to 214 total yards and just 52 yards by land. Rams All-Pro RB Todd Gurley had 28 yards on just eleven carries. Rams QB Jared Goff was equally ineffective throwing for 180 yards on 20 for 44 and was picked off 4 times and that is unacceptable.
The Bears won the turnover battle by +1 adding to their league leading +12 and that also is huge in winning time because those turnovers find you in the playoffs. Bears used that defense and their run game behind RB Jordan Howard (pictured right) who ran for 101 yards on nineteen carries as Chicago ran for nearly two bills (194 yards). Add Gadget RB Tarik Cohen with 69 yards on nine carries the Bears might have found that perfect storm to finish out in the "Elements" and take into January 2k19!
Rams Defense played well they just didn't get the offense to play better and put up points. Los Angeles falls to 11-2 tied with the New Orleans Saints. The Bears move to 9-4 and anything goes at this point as all eyes are on that George Halas Trophy dba #Fight4George and Atlanta, Georgia in February 2k19!
