Before anyone could get comfortable in their seats talking fans the Alabama Crimson Tide came out like they were just removed from one of those patented weekday practices in Tuscaloosa with everyone talking the fourth quarter.
'Bama went up 28-0 before the Oklahoma Sooners knew what hit them and Heisman Winning Sooners QB Kyler Murray to his credit and that Sooners Offense made the game respectable outscoring the Tide 34-17 after the fact.
Murray threw for 308 yards on 19 for 37 with two TDs. If Murray didn't have the legs to run like he did that 'Bama Front would have had double digit Red Jersey Collections. He also ran for 109 yards on 17 carries as Sooners WR Ceedee Lamb caught eight Pigskins from Murray for 109 yards and a TD.
That 'Bama Offense ran wild and called Slants on every route as that Boomer Sooner Secondary had no answers. Roll Tide QB Tua Tagovailoa was a somewhat quiet and amazing 24 for 27 with 318 yards and extremely accurate as he has been all season long. 'Bama RBs Damien Harris (13 car 48 yds 2 TD) and Najee Harris ( 6 car 45 yds) were not the story as Josh Jacobs was carrying the Pigskin fifteen times for 98 yards.
Biletnikoff Award Winner (Nations Top WR in College Football) 'Bama WR Jerry Jeudy (only a Sophomore) had just 4 grabs for 73 yards and a TD as three 'Bama WRs scored at least once. DeVonta Smith led with six grabs for 104 yards with RB Jacobs also was a factor in the passing game hauling in four pigskins for 60 yards and a score.
All that Offense and the baddest man on the field was Outland Trophy Winner (College Football's Best Interior Lineman) 'Bama's Quinnen Williams dominated with plenty of help. They kept that high-powered Sooners Offense in check for the most part.
That 'Bama Secondary also played well and Oklahoma Sooners leading WR Hollywood Brown (Cousin of Steelers WR Antonio Brown) was a non-factor as it appeared he was injured liming noticeably throughout the game on the sideline.
Now Roll Tide gets the Clemson Tigers for all the marbles as the interior linemen in this game is off the charts as well as the speed and skilled guys...see you January 7th, 2k19 in Santa Clara, California!
