The Chicago Bulls playing on a Sunday full slate of games in the NFL overcomes a 59-54 halftime deficit to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-92. If that wasn't enough the Bulls used a 30-15 run in the 3rd to put the Cavs away for good.
It was the "Finnisher" Bulls young star from Finland Lauri Markkanen who is defying the odds that Finland Folks only play Ice Games (Hockey at Bluedude Sportstalk) as he torched the Cavs "D" for some 31 points on 11 for 18 from the field including five money balls in just 32 minutes. Bulls PG Kris Dunn added 17 points, eight boards and seven helpers with Justin Holiday (15 pts) and Ryan Arcidiacono with a dozen.
Cavs get 20 points from "Bloodline" Larry Nance Jr. and 17 points each from both Jordan Clarkson (Bench) and Cedi Osman. Cleveland's 2k18 first rounder Collin Sexton shot a miserable 3 for 16 and had just six points.
Chicago shot 55% from the field and 50% from the arc (11-22) and 88% from the charity stripe and coming out of the motel that is a recipe for success. Chicago moves to 9-25 with the Cavs falling to 8-26 as they both trade off being last in the east...
