Brooklyn had the Raptors in a bad spot all game long as they led after the 1st, at the Break, and at the end of the 3rd. It wasn't until the last minute of regulation the Nets could have taken the lead which would have meant they most likely would have been advancing.
The Nets got the Brooklyn lead down to two points 101-99 with 25 seconds remaining as the Nets hits most of their free throws under a minute. It wasn't until it was 104-103 and a bad inbound pass by the Nets that the Raptors had the Spalding Orange with a chance to win with 6.2 seconds remaining. Raptors 5-Star Point God Kyle Lowry drove the lane in traffic an of all Nets it was the "Truth" Paul Pierce who blocks Lowry's Shot and the game ends at 104-103 Nets as they advance to play the Miami Heat in Round 2.
Joe Johnson led Brooklyn with 26 points and Marcus "Machine Gun" Thornton came off the bench to get a big 17 as the Nets were +12 points from the Arc over the Dinosaurs. The Raptors get a game-high 28 points from Lowry and Amir Johnson added 20 points and ten boards in the paint. To the Dinosaurs Credit they knockdown 29 of 33 shots from the Stripe to keep themselves within striking distance and they almost pulled it off.
Brooklyn advances to play the Champs as the raptors will be "Godzilla" in the 2014-15 season in the Atlantic as #WeTheNorth and #NorthernUprising in officially in the Logo!
