The Canadiens ride Net Minder Price, the Subb-anator, and Max Pac to Victory as Carey Price, P.K. Subban, and Max Pacioretty along with that Montreal Hockey Team beat the big bad Boston Bruins in seven as they did what they said they were going to do and that was quiet the New Boston Garden.
Just a little over two minutes into Game 7 the Habs Dale Weise scored on a Tip-In to give the Habs a 1-0 lead as that would be the only scoring in Frame One. Then in Frame Two the Habs get a turnover in the Bruins end midway through as Max Pac gets a snap shot past Rask to make it 2-0. Just before the 2nd intermission the Spokes strike as Jarome Iginla re-directs Cory Krug's Snap Shot to make it 2-1 Habs at the end of the 2nd.
With the B's in "Desperation Mode" the Habs Daniel Briere strikes with just three minutes remaining to shock the Hockey World as the Habs beat the Spokes 3-1. Price stopped 29 of 30 shots with the B's Tuukka Rask stopping 15 of 18 shots. The Habs just took it to the B's and defensively shut that potent Bruins Attack down.
Now the Habs will take on the Broadway Bullies of NYC in another "Original 6" Match Up and imagine that NHL Heads! Habs founded in 1909 playing in 1917 with the Rangers in 1926...and how 'bout that Snap Shot!
360 Degrees...Spokes were the Odds on Favorite along with the Ducks to get to the Cup with the Hawks in 3rd place to get back to the Cup!
