The L.A. Kings took the pressure right off themselves with a fast start as they score the only goal in the first on a Jake Muzzin Wrister to make it 1-0. The Monarchs then get the 2nd score on a Trevor Lewis Wrister with just under six minutes to go in period two to make it 2-0 Kings. The Ducks get that one right back striking not even a minute later on a Kyle Palmieri War-Around to make it 2-1. That score would hold to the clock struck zeroes at Staples as the Kings force a game seven back "On Frozen Pond" in Anaheim.

Monarchs Five-Star Net Minder Jonathan Quick stopped 21 of 22 shots as Ducks John Gibson stopped 21 of 23 shots as the 20-year old has held his own and then some in the "Freeway Series 2K14". Both Teams went 0-fer on the Power Play as their were nine chances.

In a Tale of Two Series the Kings ran off the first two then the Ducks ran off three in a row only for the Kings to halt that streak at three and tie the series up. Momentum is on the Kings Side in Game 7 until the First Goal scored and who ever scores it will most likely win this series. The Team who has scored first is 6-0 in the Series as Numbers Never Lie!
