Redbirds Starter Lance Lynn couldn't stop the red Legs on this night once they got it going in the 2nd frame. The red Legs score a run from the 2nd frame through the 7th frame as they win 6-2 and finish winning three of four from the 2nd place in NL Central Redbirds.

The Red Legs followed the lead offensively of Hot Corner Todd Frazier (3 for 4 w/ Two Solo Shots) and RF Jay Bruce (2 for 4 w/ Solo HR) as the Redbirds Lynn gave up four runs on seven hits through five. Lynn also gave up three long-balls and that just can't happen this late in the seasons after winning thirteen games.

Red Legs Starter Tony Cingrani went 5 1/3 innings giving up two runs on four hits as he gave up a Solo Bomb to Redbirds Hot Corner David Freese. The Red Legs needed this one as they go into the Weekend trailing the NL Central leading Buccos by three and the Redbirds by 1.5 games. The Redbirds are 1.5 games off the Buccos as the NL Central Race heads into the first weekend of September.
