A wild one unfolded in the Bronx Zoo as the Red Sox looked as though they were and have been clearly the better team all season as they led the Yankees 7-2 going into the bottom of the 7th. The Yankees Starter Ivan Nova was chased in the fourth giving up three runs on five hits as Yanks Reliever Preston Claiborne did fare any better. Claiborne gave up three more runs behind Nova's without recording an out.

The Bombers then head to the bottom of the 7th and put up a crooked six to take the lead 8-7 as the Bronx Zoo was going nuts as the Yanks and their faithful were thinking this is the weekend we catch the Carmines. Then in the ninth the Carmines get to none other than Mo Rivera aka the Sandman for a run to tie the ball game. Then in the tenth win it on a single by Red Sox OF Shane Victorino. In dramatic fashion it turned twice just like that and it's officially the Carmines Year.

Red Sox Starter Jake Peavy went six and gave up four runs as He and reliever John Thonrton were responsible in large part for the Bombers big run 7th. The Yanks had this one and they let it go as this one will be hard to let go. Cano had three ribbies and Overbay two ribbies for the Bombers. The Carmines get  Solo Shot from Victorino and three ribbies from him while back stop Ryan Lavarnway adds two ribbies.

As we go to press it looks like the Carmines will gain game on the Rays as Tampa will fall a full six games out. The Yankees will fall back nine games to the Carmines and stay at least three games back of the Rays in the Wild Card.
