They went pitch for pitch and a miss here and a miss there cost "Mad Max of Comerica" a win as #20 eludes him once again. Carmines LHP Jon Lester didn't only rise to the occasion he is the Ace of Team Boston Strong and that's no Ramen Noodle Diet.

Behind a two-run single from Carmines Hot Corner Will Middlebrooks and seven innings of smooth no Turbulence on the Bump from Jon Lester (7 IP 8 H 1 R 0 BB 9 SO) the Carmine strike and get one back against the Tigers 2013 Ace Max Scherzer by the score of 2-1. The biggest thing that helped Lester was no free passes and that dreaded lead-off walk he avoided. The former member of Team Chicken n Suds...Lester has more than answered the bell with RHP Clay Buchholz no where in sight and still on the D.L.. Mad Max threw the Rawlings Stitched One well as he went seven as well matching Lester but allowed two runs on five hits as he issued three free passes and struck out eight. The Tigers Offense was stymied by Lester who "Stuff" eluded the Maple, Ash, and Bamboo of Tigers Hitters. Tigers Jose Iglesias knocked in the lone run for the Tigers who pounded out nine hits but left fourteen ducks on the pond to seventeen left by the Carmines.

The Tigers still in control of the AL Central by 7.5 over the Tribe. The Carmines lead the AL East by six with the Rays have yet to put Tuesday's Action in the books. Classic on the Bump and that was and MLB Head's Dream Match Up on the Bump as both Lester and Scherzer put on a Clinic.
