Yes the time has come when they last play ever etched in the memory of Falcons Nation and Matty Ice as well as the intended target Roddy White. All that work in 2012 and all that came to an end on one play as the 49ers headed to the Big East for the Big Bowl. If the Dirty Birds had to fix anything it was the Islands and that Defensive Front. Did they do enough secure another shot at the NFC Championship as the "O" is absolutely loaded.

The Good for the ANGRY BIRDS 404...

They have Franchise QB Matty Ice and the Peach Drop 3 (Roddy, Julio, and Gonzo) and they add Big Steven Jackson from the Big Beaver Dam in Corvalis by way of Rams Tackle Football. That was a ginormous move for that Offense and with Steve running you have to account for him in the box and that opens things up in the Passing game....lookout Falcons Foes in 2013...it could become a "Date Night at the Dirty Bird Relays"!

The O-Line is solid and they know they have to keep Matty Ice upright as the leader of that group is Center Peter Konz.

The Safeties are really good as Thomas DeCoud and William Moore are the Staples of that back end and play extremely well like Safeties are suppose to.

They lose DE John Abrahams but add G-Men Castoff Osi Umenyiora and we will see if that move pays off as the Falcons think Osi has more left than Abrahams. Still a gutsy but solid move as they have both been plagued by injuries in the ladder stages of their career.

DE/OLB Hybrid Kroy Bierrmann is the Key to that Falcons "D" along with OLB Sean Weatherspoon as both are equally good at stopping the run , getting to the QB, and dropping back in coverage. A D-Coordinator's Dream..."Versatility".

The Bad for the ANGRY BIRDS 404...

That Defensive Front has to play better and Jonathan Babineuax, Corey Peters, Travian Robertson, and Peria Jerry have to step up and stop the run and free up them Backers to make plays sideline to sideline.

They needed Corners and they yes the Falcons first two 2013 Draft Picks are keepers Bloodline Desmond Trufant of U-Dub Seattle Huskies and Robert Alford of Southeastern Louisiana. Now the downside is that the Top NFL QBs will attack both corners as Alford will most likely be the Nickel Corner.

The Backers along with the Corners are the weakest parts of that Falcons "D" and those backers outside of "SPOON" in Stephen Nicholas and Akeem Dent must step up inn 2013 for the Falcons "D" to take the necessary steps to the Top of the NFC.      


The Angry Birds 404 have very few weaknesses if any at all and it will be the NFC South for them to lose. They have a Monsters at QB, TE, WR, and RB and arguably at Safeties as Moore and DeCoud are real good. This has to be the year for the Falcons to get it right and get out of the NFC and to the Big Bowl.
