The WILDCATS run the table as the OVERALL #1 Seed and get a CHIP for the WILDCATS of KENTUCKY and they led from jump street as the JAYHAWKS, who played well all tournament even though the Yellow Brick Road was paved, still made it tough to close for UK.
All-World Basketball Player, he really doesn't have a position defined in my eyes, Kentucky's Anthony DAVIS who had less than 24 points and still won Most Outstanding Player in the Final 4 was just that. Big ANT gets ONLY 6 points but get 16 boards, 5 helpers, 3 thefts, and 6 not on my watch to lead UK to its 8th National Title. Super-Soph T. Jones had 9 and 7 with Kidd-Gilchrist, the other FAB FRESHMAN, adding 11 and 6.
The story of the game was the quiet and unassuming play of GRANNY SMITH Sniper Doron LAMB who put the UK Offense on his back and went for 22 points on 7-12 from the field and 3 for 6 Money Balls. He also ran the point and ONLY had 1 turnover. This might be his last game as well for UK as he has to be one of the TOP SNIPERS in the 2012 NBA Draft.
As for Coach CAL you hear all the rumblings about what is next and before he might look at the LOGO he has some Top Prospects to attend to as in Nerlens NOEL and Shabazz MUHAMMAD. They will be announcing their SCHOOL choices on April 11th, 2012 around dinner time central and eastern time.
