Spurs Point God TP9 came out like he was shot out of a Cannon as that V6 he was running on in games 1-6 turned into a V12 as he torched the Mavs as the Spurs followed his lead to a 119-96 blowout of the Dallas Mavericks in Game 7 at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs back to playing "Spur Wars" had a 35-23 lead at the need of the first and 68-46 lead at the break and never looked back. The Mavs had a chance as it was 77-63 with just over six minutes left in the 3rd only for the Spurs Kawhi Leonard to hit a huge Money Ball to put the lead back to 80-63. Parker led all scorers with a robust 32 points on 11 of 19 from the field. Manu added 20 points with D.G. 16, Dunc 15 and 8 boards as Kawhi joined the fray with 15 and six boards as well. Spurs shot a sizzling 57% from the field and 41% plus from the Arc.
The Mavs just didn't math the Spurs Energy from the Tip and that cost them. The Real Spurs showed up in Game 7 as the Mavs Game 4 loss was the biggest loss in the series in Big D. The M.F.F.L. Greatest dba Mavs G.O.A.T. @swish41 led Dallas with 22 points and nine rebounds. Devin Harris chipped in with 17 as the Mavs still had a nice run in that Top-Heavy Western Conference.
Then Spurs now face the Portland Trailblazers who cause all kinds of match up problems starting with the L-Train and Damian Lillard.
Spurs have four rings with "DUNC" and "POPS" going for "One for the Thumb"!
