Sports Shorts Take 167 going "LONG BALL"...
The Washington Wizards with Wiz Nation on 100 flops in Game 3 of the Series versus the Gold Swagger Pacers turned back to Indiana Pacers. Pacers win 85-63 behind All-Star PG-24's 23 points and eight boards. They also won as the Wiz Kids D.C. couldn't shoot it in the Potomac with 33% FG, 25% FT, and 50% FT as Bradley Beal led just three Washington Wizards in double figures with 16 points. In a normal NBA Season he Pacers playing as Jekyll & Hyde as they have been would have been ousted in Round 1. There is no doubt they will get their wish in playing the Miami Heat in the East Finals.
The Chicago Blackhawks went to the Twin Cities up 2-0 after winning games one an two and now find themselves locked into a an Alley Fight. The Wild winning Game 3 on Tuesday comes right back to win Game 4 on Friday Night 4-2 to even the series at 2-2. It was back and forth as the Wild went up 1-0 then 1-1 back to 2-1 Wild and then 2-2. The Wild then not even a minute after the Hawks tied it at 2-2 scored to make it 3-2. That score held up as Minnesota added one more in the 3rd to win 4-2. Hawks only mustered 20 SOG as Hawks Net Minder Crawford stopped 27-31 shots.
OKC goes into Staples and goes up 2-1 on a 118-112 score as NBA M.V.P. KD gives the Clips 36 points and eight boards while dabbling in six helpers. Russ Westbrook goes 23 points, thirteen helpers, and eight boards and is anyone in OKC crying about Russ' Play now...that's what I thought! Blake led Lob City with 34 points with CP3 adding 21 points and waiting on sixteen Clips Tables. It came down to execution and KD and Russ taking over and that's exactly what happened as Clipper Nation tip your cap!
Yu Darvish of the Rangers came within a botched Fly Ball in Right and a seeing eye single from Carmines DH "Big Papi" Ortiz from throwing a perfect game as Texas beat Boston 8-0. Darvish went 8 2/3 innings walking two and striking out a Dozen Red Sox Hitters. The botched Fly Ball happened in the 7th and the hit in the 9th. Darvish walked his first hitter in the Top half of the 8th.
