The Baltimore Orioles have stayed the course and although it is not pretty the O's have beaten the Sox of Chi City now twice as they go for the sweep on Sunday. It took extras and a game-winning single from Matt Weiters in the 10th to get closer to the Rangers and Rays in the AL Wild Card.

O's Starter Wei-Yin Chen was steady as he went six and gave up two runs on six hits while striking out eight as he gave up a Solo HR to Sox OF Dayan Viciedo. The Sox scored three behind just seven hits as four of those hits came from Paul Konerko and Viciedo as they had two each.

The O's get two hits apiece from Manny Machado and Adam Jones while O's DH Dan Valencia went three for four. The O's get the game-winner in the tenth of Sox Closer Addison Reed who blows his 6th save behind some 36 saves. Can the O's catch the Carmines in the AL East probably not. The O's are sitting right in the middle of the Wild Card Race as they are a 1.5 behind the Rays for the AL's 2nd slot in the Wild Card.
