The Los Angels Angels of Anaheim have not had too much to talk about in 2013 as they will run on Pride and Job Security for some for the 2014 Season, Do not tell the Rays that as they come into "Rally Monkey" Land with a four-game "L" Streak and it continued on Monday Night in Orange County, California.

Behind an eleven run on sixteen hit barrage from the Halos the Rays are now on a five-game skid with no end in sight as the Halos win big 11-2. Rays RHP Chris Archer threw BP for 3 2/3 innings before he was lifted after giving up five runs on nine hits while striking out four and giving up a two-run bomb to Halos 2nd baseman Erick Aybar. The Rays in turn start off the game with Rays second baseman Ben Zorbrist taking Halos Starter Garrett Richards for a Solo Job to make it 1-0 Rays. That was all the Rays would see for a lead as the Halos put up a crooked three in the 4th and a crooked five in the 6th.

To put thing in perspective for the Rays they were hovering around 2.5 games back of the Carmines just a week ago. Now with the skid at five they are 5.5 games out of the AL East lead and just two games up in the AL Wild Card on the O's and 2.5 up on the Bombers. Hopefully the Rays can put a stop to the skid with 14-game winner Matt Moore on the Hill Tuesday.

Note: Halos LF Mike Trout went 2 for 4 scoring two runs moving his season average up to .335...as he is 3rd in the AL MVP Race behind Miggy and Crush in my guesstimation.
