Rangers paid to get him last season and he was well worth the ticket and now looking more and more comfortable Rangers RHP Yu Darvish will be dominant in 2013 if tonight was an indicator.

The Japanese Import was all that vs the 'Stros as Darvish had all his stuff working. Look at Darvish's Stat line vs the 'Stros tonight:

Darvish 8 2/3 IP 1 H 14 Ks 0 Runs 0 BB 0 HRs

Remember a Perfect Game is Zeroes across the Board and facing the minimum of 27 batters. Darvish had 26 down until 'Stros SS Marwin Gonzalez hits a single up the middle. The Ranger went on to win the game by a Final Score of 7-0 as Kinsler, Andrus, Berkeman, and Cruz combined to go 10/17 from the dish, six ribbies, and four runs scored. The Rangers put one run up in the top half of the 3rd frame only to put Crooked Numbers up in Innings seven though nine. That was more than enough for Darvish when he is dealing like he was Tonight.

Darvish's Arsenal is of Seven Pitches anytime in the count and that's what makes him a #1 and a terror on Hitters when he is locked in and hitting his spots. Darvish throws these pitches in his Arsenal:
Note: Express means Fastball....

4-Seam Express
2-Seam Express
12/6 Curveball (a 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock Arm Motion)
Split finger
Cutter (Cut Express)
Slide Piece (Slider)
Change

Most #1's have 4 Pitches they can go to at anytime in the count..Darvish goes to the Buffet to throw his. Not to mention on his Express Pitches the constant changes in Speed and that is a nightmare or hitters.
