After losing in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs vs the Denver Broncos the Steelers knew there was more work to be done and they had to start by releasing some of their older players.

The Black and Yellow released ILB and Captain James "POTSIE" Farrior, DE Aaron Smith, and WR Hines Ward. The Defense has to get younger and they have Depth it was that the Vets were still holding it down.

Now after a Steelers 2012 Draft Class that might rank at the Top before it said and done the Black and Yellow have some holes filled that were needs and they capitalized on that in the Draft.

The O-Line had to get better and younger and they get OG David DeCastro and OT Mike Adams and just think if Big Ben can stay upright with all those weapons on the outside. Throw in 5th Round Scat Back Gator and Lakeland HS Back Chris Rainey, who played with the Pouncey Twins at Lakeland, can be a really good change of pace back and an asset in the Kicking game.

The Defense needed an upgrade at NT and U-Dub Seattle's Alameda Ta'Amu looks the part as he was drafted in the 4th Round. Fast and Furious LB Sean Spence, @3Spence1 Twitter Handle, is a supreme run-stopper and his instincts to the Pigskin are 2nd to none.
