Lets me start by saying give the 2013-14 Hart Trophy to Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and that is not taking shots but he was the best players on Ice in the 2013-14. Now having said that the New York Rangers facing elimination in three straight games pull it off as they win the New Igloo...the Consol Energy Center not shocking the Pens but beating them.

The Rangers struck in the 1st frame on a Brian Boyle wrister to make it 1-0 Rangers. The pressure was on after that as Sidney Crosby and the gang knew what was at stake and not just this Series but Coaches, Players, and Pens Nation. The Pens though in the 2nd frame gets a goal by Jussi Jokinen to the the match up at 1-1 but three minutes after that Rangers Alternate Captain Mike Richards gets a wrister past Pens Net minder Marc-Andre Fleury to make it 2-1 and that would be the final score.

The Pens did everything they had to do to win the game as they out shot the Blue Shirts 36-20. The Rangers were on Power Plays twice and Richards Goal was the only PPG on the night. Sweden Henrik Lundqvist was magnificent in Net stopping 37/38 SOG. Fleury stopped just 18 of 20 as the rangers now await the winner of the Spokes/Habs Series which is going game 7 on Hump Day.

"Sid the Kid" Crosby and Pens Lead Man Dan Bylsma are going to hear it and there will be changes in the 'Burgh starting with Bylsma. Up 3-1 and they could not get one with two of the three games in their house is unacceptable.
