The New York Yankees come into their four-piece with two thing on their mind...the AL Wild Card and can we make thing interesting in the AL East with a three out four or get a sweep. The Bombers are just 2.5 games out of the #2 slot in the Wild Card behind the Rays. Can the Yanks put some pressure on the Carmines with Dempster aka Dr. Bush League not going in this series.

The Bo Sox come in with the Rays the closest to the AL East Carmines -looking Throne and that would be 5.5 games out. The Carmines broke out the HR Derby sponsored by Tigers Pitching throwing BP last night beating the Tigers 20-4 and hitting eight bombs. Can the Carmines put a dent not only in the Yanks Hopes for getting back into the AL East Race but the in their Wild Card Aspirations? Stakes are running high as you don't need to look at the Calendar as the NFL Season will start Tonight and that is all a Major-Leaguer needs to know what time it is.
