Battle of Charm City...MELO vs RUDY

The Knicks used Defense Last Night and some timely Shooting to give the Spurs Loss #2 vs 7 W's. The Bully of MSG (pictured left Melo Anthony) only had 9 points but 12 off the Glass. They also get a Double Double from the Landlord of MSG Tyson Chandler with 13 points and 11 boards. The biggest surprise was from Point Guard Ray Felton as he hit TP9 and the Spurs Guard for 25 and 7 helpers.  The Knicks are playing D and they are getting Stops as they are #1 in Point Differential with a +13.67 Points. The Grizzlies are #2 with a +9.14 and they Grind Teams out on every Possession. The Knicks thought last night was a Great Barometer with the Win over the Spurs well this Game Tonight being the 2nd Leg of the Back to Back will Tell the Tale.

The Grizzlies are coming off a Big win vs the Thunder with Rudy Gay (pictured Right) netting 28 pts, 6 boards, and 5 dimes. Yes he was motivated by the Olympic 2K12 Roster Snub and he took it to the Thunder and @kdTREY5. Z-Bo added 20 and 11 with the Grind House Clean Up Crew of  Pondexter and Bayless adding 13 and 12 respectively. Grizz Lead Man Lionel Hollins has a Well-Oiled Machine and they are looking for some Retribution Night in and Night Out and Grinding in the Process.

The Knicks are also #1 in Points Scored at 104.2 ppg and #2 in Points Against at 89.83 and they are getting it done on both Ends and Hats off to Lead Man Mike Woodson. The Grind House isn't far off being #5 in Points Scored at 101.57 ppg and #7 in Points Against at 92.43 ppg. It all will play out Tonight as you have the Front Line of the Knicks led by reigning 2012-12 Logo Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler going up against arguably the Best 1-2 Punch in the Front Court in the Logo in Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.

The Knicks and Grizzlies are making an Early Statement in the Logo for 2012-13 and both the Thunder and Spurs have taken Notice and what do you have for me on a 2nd Leg of a back to Back on the Road in the Grind House for me Knicks Nation.
