ALAMO CITY Hoops...the Same Old SPURS doing the Same Old THING...5-0 on Current 6-Game Road Trip with Kawhi, Danny, Gary, Tiaggo, and Captain Jack playing Huge Roles #SPURShoops

They might not win the "Fight for Larry" in 2K13 but what the San Antonio Spurs and Lead Man Pops do Year in and Year out is Win consistently. The Spurs will face the Heat Tonight in Miami to end  a Six Game Nine Day Road Trip that has them 5-0 on the Road Trip thus far.

The Spurs are currently 2nd in the Southwest at 13-3 behind the Grind House on Beale Street the Memphis Grizzlies. Yes they are doing it with the Three Players responsible for the Four Banners hanging up but they have also done it with a mix of Young Players and Vets as well. Taking a look at the Players that have aided Manu, TP9, and Dunc in the 2012-13 Season:

SF Kawhi Leonard 10.6 ppg 5 rebs.: 2011 1st Round Pick of SDSU Aztecs and Lead Man Steve Fisher has exceeded all expectations and is a Future All-Star at the Small Forward. He Defends well, has a Nice Intermediate Game, and can knock it down from the Arc.

2G Danny Green 10.4 ppg 3.5 rebs.: Green of UNC Tar Heel Hoops Lore was a Free Agent Pick Up and a nice Big Guard that defends as does Kawhi. He plays the Passing lanes extremely well and can also spread the Floor with his Money Ball.

PF/C Tiaggo Splitter 8.2 ppg 4 rebs.(pictured Right): Is starting to come full circle to help Dunc in the Paint. Splitter is Long and Active and is turning into a Monster Defensively and on the Glass. This might be the Answer in the Playoff to help Dunc in the Front Court.

2G Gary Neal 10.3 ppg: In his 3rd Year with the Spurs is a Straight up Shooter. When Neal is in the Game you must account for him as he is the Spurs Deadliest Shooter from Distance.

SF Stephen Jackson7.7 ppg 4 rebs. : Captain Jack is Back in the Alamo City and he is the Heart and Soul of the 2nd Unit and a Leader along with Dunc and TP9. Excellent Pickup for Pops and the Spurs when they dumped Richard Jefferson to the Warriors.

The Spurs continue to Develop their Own and find Players every where to Fit what they do unlike grabbing a Player because he is out there on the Streets. Its simple you have a Certain Style and System you believe in and when you get the Right Players for that System its a Plug and Play Scenario.

The Spurs will be a factor in the West and a Factor for the "Fight for Larry" starting April 2K13..write it down or take a TWITpic or INSTAgram. As long as they have Coach Pops and Dunc the Spurs will be alright.
