STEELERS pound JETS in 1st HALF.......and DICK LeBEAU'S Group take the STEELERS home in the 2nd Half....up next...the LAMBEAU LEAP BOYZ

The STEELERS started the AFC Championship Game like the started the WEEK 15 Game on the JETS.........1st Series........PAY DIRT....as in Touchdown. Then they used a swarming 3-4 Zone Blitz Attack that had the JETS off balance for the better part of the 1st half to go in the Locker Room up 24-3.

The JETS seemed to be stunned their for a second until they squeaked out the FG at the end of the 2nd QTR. It was definatley a game of 2 halves but the JETS could not overcome the HUGE VALENTINE that the STEELERS Players thrive on....that is playing on pure HEART.......no one does it better than the MEN OF STEEL....sorry SUPERMAN.

The JETS made their PLAYS in the 2nd half after making some subtle adjustments as the STEELERS knew they would but in the end just came up short. The JETS looked off balanced for the most part and went back to the Run setting up their passing game in the 2nd half to get the STEELERS D a little off balance.

The key to the game was the running of 3rd year Pro Rashard MENDENHALL of the UNIVERSITY of ILLINOIS by way of NILES NORTH HS in SKOKIE ILLINOIS. The JETS knew he was coming and could not stop SHARD in the Running Game or Passing Game for the fact of the matter. #34 in Black and Yellow has made huge strides and is a big factor in the STEELERS Offensive Success and if you ask #7 what is the biggest compliment to any offense......BIG BEN will tell you the Running GAME.......NO DOUBT.

The JETS were not bumping their gums all week because the knew the task at hand....yeah they took down Maize and Blue and good Ole' Rocky Top Tennessee, that is BRADY and MANNING for those of you not in the know, but BIG BEN was going to be a HUGE MOuntain to climb ....LITERALLY SPEAKING for the J-E-T-S to get over.......and in the end it was too much.

Now the STEEL CURTAIN has the CHOSEN ONE in PACK QB Aaron RODGERS, who has been lighting the Scoreboard up since the Post Season started. But in the bigger picture it will be PACK D COORDINATOR Dom CAPERS 3-4 vs Dick LeBEAU'S 3-4 to pull, this one out.

I know this the STEELERS are a smooth, unflappable outfit that has plenty of experience in these types of games and it should be real interesting to see how the PACKERS attack the BLACK N YELLOW............You know what it is........Everthing I do is for the CRIB.........THROW THEM TERRIBLE TIZZLES in the air and wave them like you just don't care.
