The Los Angeles Lakers still playing at a solid pace considering that LeBron James and Rajon Rondo have both been out for some games handles the Detroit Pistons easily at Staples 16-Chips Set-Up 113-100 and it wasn't that close.

Lakers Wing Kyle Kuzma in his second-year nets 41 points on 16 for 24 shooting from the field including five money balls. The Lake Show rode that wave as the Pistons get just 16 points and six helpers from Blake Griffin and 6 points and seventeen boards from Andre Drummond.

This is Detroit's fist season under lead man Dwayne Casey and its been tough sledding. They might want to look at blowing it up and moving at least one of the "Bigs" preferably Blake and get something in return. Also their guard play is not very good as they paid Reggie Jackson and he has never turned out or turned up for Detroit.

Former Kansas State Alum Michael Beasley and Kevin Durant's childhood dude went for 19 points off the Lakers Bench on 9 for 13 shooting and its B-Easy's born day as well. The Lake Show moves to 23-19 shooting a sizzling 56% from the field.

Detroit on a motel swing falls to 17-22 and I look for them to be active at the NBA Trade Deadline right after the All-Star Break...
