The Brooklyn Nets are my surprise team in the entire NBA as no one knew but them and all of a sudden they are making real noise in the east and they are "Monsters 94 x 50" when you face them in the Barclays!

Behind another smooth night at the controls D'Angelo Russell's 23 points and ten helpers (pictured right) and "Swat Man" from #HookEm in Nets Center Jarrett Allen's double-double 12 points and a dozen boards the Nets were in control the entire 48.

Up 48-47 at the break and 81 77 at the end of three the Nets stayed in control and did what they had to do stretching that four point lead out to a 109-100 victory. Grind City PG Mike Conley led all scorers with a game-high 31 as Super-Rookie Jaren Jackson added 19 and Marc Gasol chipped in with 13 points and nine boards with seven helpers.

That Flatbush Bench led by DeMarre Carroll's 20 points was the difference maker as the Nets Bench outscored the Grizz Bench 51-20 and that was your ballgame. Brooklyn moves to 19-21 while the Grizz falls to 18-20...
