The Dallas Cowboys game plan was to keep the Los Angeles Rams potent offense dba Air McVay off the field and that was with a heavy dose of Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott. Well the Los Angeles Rams took that same game plan and not only was it effective but all of a sudden the Rams heading into the Fight for the George Halas Trophy next week has a two-headed monster at running back.

Behind a combined 238 yards on 39 carries from both Todd Gurley ( 16 car 115 yds TD) and C.J. Anderson (23 car 123 yds 2 TD) the Rams destroyed the #5 run "D" in the NFL  only allowing 94.6 yds per contest through 16 weeks in 2018. A shock to say the least the Cowboys had no answer as Rams QB Jared Goff became a game manager going 15 for 28 for 186 yards.

Cowboys Star All-Pro RB Zeke Elliott couldn't get anything going as he ran for 47 yards on 20 carries. WR Michael Gallup hauled in 6 Wilson pigskins for 119 yards as he did more than his job opposite of Amari Cooper who had just as many catches for 65 yards.

The Cowboys Game Plan had to be make Jared Goff beat us and limit Gurley's effectiveness not counting on Anderson to be equally effective and getting more carries as Gurley was super fresh at the point of attack as he became a situational RB which stifled that Cowboys front seven.

Dallas ends their season and I am never big on the ," We will get'em next season" as there is always major change in the NFL season to season you never know what can happen. The Rams move onto next week the NFC Championship and they will find out if its Home vs the Eagles or away in New Orleans vs the Saints.
