The Saints go marching into the Linc on Broad Street and hang an "L" on the Eagles as it was Nip and Tuck after the Saints looked to pull away early. It came down to the Eagles "D" not having any answer not for just Brees but the Who Dat Run Game.

The Saints get ex-Heisman and 'Bama RB Mark Ingram to run for 97 yards on 18 carries. Little-known RB Khiry Robinson of West Texas A&M added 45 yards on 8 carries as the Saints just ran downhill on the eagles Front who could do nothing. Yes Brees only had 98 yards throwing in the first half and ended up with 250 yards on 20 for 30 for a TD. The surprising thing is the Saints didn't need Air Payton and Brees to throw for a Country Mile to win the game and maybe they found a happy median to take to the Hawks Nest 206 next week.

The Eagles were right there as they got back into the game with Nick Foles clicking with everyone but WR DeSean Jackson. RB Shady McCoy did rush for 77 yards on just 21 carries as that Saints "D" under Rob Ryan kept the Eagles Offense "LINC-iliscious" under wraps for the most part. Foles passed  195 yards but their Tempo for the most part was controlled enough by the Saints "D" to give the Saints a much-needed "W" playing away from the dome.

Now Who Dat gets to exercise those Seahawks Demons and become the "Redeem Team" as the last time they were up in the 206 they got ambushed 34-7. The eagles on the other hand should be more polished on Offense in 2014 and their "D" is young but headed in the right direction.
