As we near the NBA All-Star Break next weekend all the NBA will be under 40 Games to play for the 2012-13 Season. If the Playoff started Today in the NBA East the Heat would be the Favorite. The more intriguing part is what would the Match Ups be like in Round 1.

The NBA Playoffs if they started Today February 9, 2013 in the Eastern Conference

1 HEAT  
8 Celtics

4 BULLS
5 Nets

3 PACERS
6 Hawks

2 KNICKS
7 Bucks

The Heat would roll the C's and most likely face the Bulls considering they will get back a 80% Healthy Derrick Rose. The Bulls and Nets Series would be the toughest in the NBA East 1st Round.

The Pacers would beat the Hawks as the Hawks most likely will lose as the Hawks just don't match up well with the Pacers. The Knicks would make quick work of the Bucks and would see a tough Series vs the Pacers in the 2nd Round.

The Eastern Conference is a tougher call for the Fact that there are about Five Teams that are eerily similar. Until I see anyone stopping King James the Heat will be the Favorites on both sides of the ledger.
