Maybe one of the BEST Coaches ever in the SEC......GATORS Head Coach URBAN MEYER calls it QUITS....citing Health and FAMILY among other issues.

WE saw the same thing last year......then URBAN MEYER, GATOR Head Football Coach, came back quickly to finish what he had started 6 year ago at the University of FLORIDA Gainesville. A year later Urban Meyer resigns citing FAmily and Health as contributing factors to spend more time with his wife and daughters.

After compiling a career 103-23 Overall Record, Urban Meyer will finally step down as Florida Gators Head Coach effective immediately. It wasn't the disappointing 7-5 season he had this past year but a lot of factors that went into his descision to finally call it quits.

The GATORS Football Team was 64-15 under his watch and 36-13 in the SEC with 2 National Championships a run that by no means can be understated in maybe the BEST College Football Confrence in the land.

Many will say it was the Off-Feild distractions from players that was the contributing factors but in the end it was Being a good husband and father that has pulled URBAN away from the Sport and rightfully so. There are 2 things in life that should be a constant and a foundation for people, FAITH and FAMILY, those 2 in any order go along way to you becoming a productive citizen in life in genearl.

So if One URBAN MEYER says its time because of this HATS off the The Man as he said yeasterday in his press confrence," What matters is that I am judged on how good a Husband and FAther that I am not how many Bowl Games I win".

Urban leaves the Gators as the 3rd highest paid coach in Division 1-A only behind only Pete Carroll and Charlie WEIS, both of whom had sinced moved on to SUNDAY FOOTBALL.

There will be no doubting that URBAN can get it done having one at BOWLING GREEN 17-6 (11-5) from 2001-2002, University of UTAH 22-1 (31-1) 2002-2003, and an amazing run through the SEC.

Athletic Director Jeremy Foley will make the right descision in replacing Urabn as he is one of the Best AD'S in the country.

But URBAN will be missed not only by GATORS FANS but College Football FAns in General. The BLUEDUDE is just content with seeing the MAN work from a far and how hard he worked at his craft to be the best Coach he could be.

Now onto the 2nd stage or the Only stage in life that really matters...............FAITH and FAMILY.......Good Luck URBAM MEYER III......you have earned it.
