BIG BEN and POLAMALU lead Steelers past RAVENS....RAIDERS cool off BOLTS....BEARS get past tenacious LIONS NFL WEEK 13

The PLAYOFF PICTURE is almost set at least for the teams who will be in. Now the real DRAMA starts with the teams Jockeying for positions.

The Top 2 Teams in each conference will be idle the first week of the PLAYOFFS then the 2nd week will be hosting a playoff game. So it is vital for everyone involved to win out.

BIG TIME Headlines for NFL Week 13....STEELERS hang tough and get the RAVENS at the end.....BEARS sneak past the LIONS......BENGALS have a big penalty in loss to WHO DAT? NATION..........these are just some of the stories that unfolded in Week 13..........Lets get to it.....

A bad foot, broken nose, and a LINEBACKER in TERRELL SUGGS that almost got to BIG BEN on every play couldn't stop BEN and the STEELERS as they get the biggest game of the season in the BIG CRABCAKE. The RAVENS played well enough to win but didn't make the plays in the 2nd half to win. The STEELERS had that ball in the 3rd qtr for some 13 plus minutes and the RAVENS ran a total of about 16 offensive plays in the 2nd half. THE STEELERS knew they had to make a play on D and get a turnover and #43 POLAMALU rang that bell. Lesson 1......Teams can't let BEN in the REDZONE that many times and keep the STEELERS out of the Zone. Lesson #2.....GOOD LUCK playing either one of these defensesin the Playoffs. Now the STEELERS ARE 9-3 with a game lead on the RAVENS.

The San Diego Chargers have been riding high for a few weeks and don't lose in DECEMBER right?......WRONG.....Someone forgot to tell the Silver and Black as they beat the BOLTS 28-13 and now both teams are knotted at 6-6 2 games behind the CHIEFS who are 8-4 with 4 games to play. The BOLTS were never in this one as the RAIDERS used a 60-40 run to pass to take time off the clock and keep PHILLIP RIVERS off the field. This loss might spell doom for the BOLTS playoff run.

The MONSTERS of the MIDWAY used key plays when they had to make them to beat the LIONS in the MOTOR CITY. QB JAY CUTLER has been playing the part for a string of games now and the MAD SCIENTIST Offensive Coordinator MIKE MARTZ has found a balance in his play calling to keep the offense balance. One Question I keep hearing is ARE THE BEARS FOR REAL? 9-3 in the NFL with 4 games to play.......HECK YEAH....it doesn't get no more real than that. The BEARS have the NFL'S toughest schedule down the stretch but are in a real good spot. The BLUEDUDE always says a good team will get to 10 wins before 4 losses......that the magic formula.

MATTY ICE and the DIRTY BIRDS overcame a 10 point deficit to beat the young BUCS at the NEW SOMBRERO 28-24. The FALCONS have been hearing for a while they can't win on the road or don't have a signature win on the road......well they have one now. They have one of the more easier schedules down the stretch except for the day after christmas TILT with the SAINTS in the BIRDCAGE in ATLANTA. FALCONS have a game lead on WHO DAT? Nation.

THE SAINTS get a 4th and 2 with :34 seconds to go in the 4th in the redzone and the BUNGLES jump offside. DAMN BENGALS....as though the BENGALS can't get anything right....they shoot themselves in the foot.....Brees then went to WR MARQUIS COLSTON on the very next play to win that ball game. The SAINTS are in a very good place as well with a 9-3 record and a game behind the FALCONS with a date in ATL coming up.

Other NFL NEWS..............

PEYTON MANNING threw another 4 picks as the COLTS fall to the DALLAS COWBOYS who are 3-1 under new man JASON GARRETT. The game was played at a playoff intensity level and these are the COWBOYS that JERRY and the FANS thought they were getting out the gate. What a little inspiration and the right guy pushing buttons will do for a team.

The COLTS are now 6-6 and fighting to get in the playoffs and are a game back of the JAGS who posted a big win at TENNESSEE 17-6 with "POCKET HERCULES", Mo JONES-DREW, shouldering the load with almost 190 rushing yards. The JAGS are now 7-5 and DEL RIO'S group control their own destiny with 4 to play.

The PACKERS route the 9ERS 38-14 and the ugly throwbacks.....DAMN REEBOK out of all the years the PACK has worn a couple different uniforms.....you pick that one....with the circle in the front it look like a block of WISCONSIN CHEDDAR...for real.

G-MEN ran all over the 'SKINS with that 2-headed monster that could spell doom for GIANTS Opponents down the stretch. The EAGLES and G-MEN will battle for the NFC East all the way to the end.

DON'T BLINK NOW.....The RAMS are a top the NFC WEST with the Seahawks at 6-6 with a 2 game lead on the NINERS with 4 to play. If i had to choose I would go with SAM BRADFORS and Coach SPAGS to get into the PLAYOFFS.

The KC CHIEFS are for real and will win the AFC WEST and get into the wildcard. This team is loaded with playmakers......and if you get them into the playoffs......watch #25 and #82.........TOP 10 FANTASY Offensive Guys......and they make PLAYS all the time for HALEY"S BUNCH.
