When the Southern Methodist University Men's Basketball Team hired NBA and NCAA Coaching Legend Larry Brown it was only a matter of time that the SMU Mustangs were going to get it together. Brown in only his 2nd season at SMU has the 'Stangs looking like and playing like the best Men's College Basketball Team in the State. At 19-5 overall and a 8-3 in the new AAC with home wins over UConn, Cincy, and Memphis they will be in March Madness 2k14.

After beating #7 the Cincinnati Bearcats last night in SMU's Moody Coliseum in front of a sellout that added to what has already been a top-notch season on the Hardwood for the 'Stangs. It has been Brown's Coaching but more importantly SMU's Recruiting as it's a Players League no matter how you slice it.

Yes that would be Odessa JUCO's L.J. and Hornets and Knicks along with UNLV's Johnson who the NCAA blocked his admission into SMU and that is a whole other story.
