The Syracuse Orange are on a run not seen since the 1980-81 "Wahoos" dba the Virginia Cavaliers when they had the likes of Ricky Stokes, Rick Carlisle (Mavs current Lead Man), Jeff Lamb, and the great Ralph Sampson. Doing it with a long-athletic front line and a Freshman just a semester into University College they have been on fire. At 22-0 and 9-0 in the ACC as they get by Duke last Saturday in what many were calling the best game of the 2013-14 season and what 'Cuse Lead Man and Legend Jim Boehiem called," the Regulars Season Game ever at the 'Cuse".

To beat the Orange you must take out that patented 2-3 Zone and then match their athleticism all over the floor with B-More's C.J. Fair and the D.M.V.'s Jerami Grant along with Philly's Rakeem Christmas. The Back Court is Steady Eddy led by Freshman Tyler Ennis and Combo Guard no one talk about in Trevor Cooney a bigger Poor Man's "G-Mac" former 'Cuse PG and now Assistant Gerry McNamara. For the love of former 'Cuse Stars like Dave Bing, Derrick Coleman, Billy Owens, Louis "the Plastic Man" Orr, Rony Seikaly, Lawrence Moten, the "General" Sherman Douglas, John Wallace, and of course 'Melo Anthony to name a few.

The Lakers will get back the "Flying Steve's" in Steve Nash aka NASHty and the Real Blake Show
in Steve Blake. The also will get back former Woodland Hills, CA Taft HS and UCLA Star Jordan Farmar as well in what is being deemed as a crowded back court. The Lakers fallen off the Logo Map of late are looking more and more like a Lottery Ball and clearing Salary Cap Space. Stay Tuned Lakers Nation as Pau Gasol looks like he will be on the move to the "Valley of the Sun" for more Cap Space as the Lakers set-up their #1 Soap at Bluedude Sportstalk..."2014".
